Mobile Care, Local Roots

I have called Culpeper home since the second grade, after being born in New Hampshire and spending my early childhood in Maine. I have been lucky enough to grow up in this community, with many lasting connections remaining here today. Many people here know me from the football field, where I was a quarterback at Eastern View High School before playing a year of Division I-AA football at William & Mary. I had to hang up my cleats after being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Psoriatic Arthritis following my freshman year. This personal experience with disability and chronic pain led me into the profession that I practice today.  Psoriatic Arthritis has given me valuable insight and perspective that allows me to empathize with my patients and their unique set of symptoms and circumstances.  I went on to receive my undergraduate B.S. Kinesiology degree at William & Mary in 2020 followed by my doctorate from George Washington University in 2024 — never straying very far from home. After a year as a traveling Physical Therapist in North Carolina — while spending most of my weekends driving back to Culpeper to be with friends and family — it became clear it was time to return home and focus on providing more accessible, high-quality healthcare to the community that raised me.
